Garden Club of Ohio, Inc. supports endeavors in every aspect of gardening through educational programs, horticulture and floriculture.  We will show by means of example a responsible stewardship of our land.

Welcome to the Garden Club of Ohio, Inc.  Gardening is a wonderful way to expand your knowledge of gardening and flowers, meet new friends, and better your local community while having fun!

Our goal is to be the source for gardeners and members for everything related to horticulture, landscaping, floral design, and environmental news and issues through local club meetings, district events, and annual state conferences.

About Us

The Garden Club of Ohio, Inc., a federated garden club, is a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization. It is open to anyone in the state of Ohio who is a member of a local garden club.  GCO currently has 3,109 individuals in 113 clubs, plus 18 members-at-large, in clubs across the state of Ohio. The Garden Club of Ohio, Inc., is a member of the Central Atlantic Region of National Garden Clubs, Inc.

National Garden Clubs, Inc. is composed of 50 State Garden Clubs and the National Capital Area, 198,595 members in 6,218 member garden clubs. National Garden Clubs, Inc. is proud to recognize 447 International Affiliates…from Canada to Mexico and South America…from Bermuda to South Africa, Australia and Japan, as well as 149 National Affiliates within the United States.

National Garden Clubs

National Garden Clubs is the largest organized group of gardeners in the world. The mission of National Garden Clubs is to provide education, resources, and networking opportunities for its members to promote the love of gardening, floral design, civic and environmental responsibility.

All Ohio garden clubs and each of their members are also members of National Garden Clubs in the Central Atlantic Region. The Central Atlantic Region is composed of states:  Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, National Capital Area, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. Membership offers a variety of benefits including educational opportunities to community outreach.  Joining a club will give you unlimited opportunities to make new friends, participate in a hobby that enhances your home and community; share information and work with youth of all ages, and the aged or handicapped in garden therapy; learn horticulture, floral design, and landscaping…these are just some of the benefits of joining a garden club.  What are you waiting for!
