Meet the Canton District Director –Linda Heinzer
I am proud and excited to represent the Canton District in the Garden Club of Ohio! My involvement began in 2009 as a Founding Member of the Heritage Herb Society, serving as President from 2015-2018. I also value the time I’ve spent with the Canton Garden Center as President from 2020-2022.
Being a retired Educator my connection with gardening has always included sharing knowledge and enthusiasm, mostly about herbs, to the Canton community – young and old!!!
I look forward to strengthening the relationship of the Canton District with the Garden Club of Ohio in the next 2 years by encouraging more award participation and attendance at the many interesting and educational GCO Schools. I will also actively communicate our President’s Project to “Let’s Garden With Ohio Natives”.
