GARDEN CLUB OF OHIO LIFE MEMBERSHIP
The purpose of Life Membership is to honor a special person, a worker bee, a garden club president, or yourself and to recognize their good works. An application form and $50 check made out to Garden Club of Ohio is a one-time donation that goes directly to the Garden Club of Ohio Scholarship Fund. The money is not spent, it is invested; and earnings are used for scholarships awarded to deserving college students enrolled in many areas of agriculture and horticulture studies—such as Forestry, Landscape Design, Plant Pathology, Botany, Agriculture, and Environmental Control to name a few. At last year’s Convention, $75,000 was awarded to ten outstanding students!
Life Members are privileged (for life) to attend annual, regional and special meetings and to attend the Life Member Breakfast during the GCO Annual Convention.
The Life Membership is a once-only donation; however, regular garden club dues are separate and apart and remain your responsibility.
